He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; and his daughters, James (Kathy), Richland, Paul (Sandra), Winnemucca, Mark of Downey, Lavon Cooper of Granby, Rolfe (Myrna), Mesa, Rex Downey (Lori) of Idaho, Craig (Gina), ReNae (Daryn), Idaho Falls and Karl of Downey.
He is survived by: his grandfather George Salvesen; and his siblings, Max Criddle (Donna), Green Valley, Connie Gardner (Reid) of Loveland, Carol Roylance (Glen) of Ogden, Jean Densley (Randal) of Orem, Keith (Carolee), Auburn, Clyde (Ann) and Houston. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
