He was predeceased by: his parents, James Acklin and Helen Acklin; and his sister Pam Acklin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Acklin of Dover, ID; his children, James Acklin (Danette) of Buckley, WA, Pas. Scott Acklin (Abigail) of Dover, Melissa Kubica (Jason) of Ft. Worth, TX and Dr. Marcee Sutton (Clay) of Denver, CO; and his sister Maylo Sauter of Iowa.
A memorial service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the New Fire Ministries (642 Triangle Dr, Ponderay, ID 83852).
