He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. Meyer and Margaret Steinbacher Meyer; his wife Barbara A. Meyer; his siblings, Carl Meyer, Bernard Meyer of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and Mary Lewis of Wilmington, Delaware; and his children, John B. Meyer, Jr. of Leesburg, Virginia and Catherine L. Meyer of Dalton Gardens.
He is survived by: his aunt Hilda M. Meyer; his brother Joseph Meyer of Leola, Pennsylvania; his children, James Meyer, Margaret Kronk (Joe) of Dublin, Helen Fausett (Lowell) of Corvallis and Mark Meyer of Seattle, Washington; and his stepson John Moede of Arizona. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
