He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte; and his father Oliver Wendell. He is survived by: his siblings, Clifford Holmes, Don Holmes and Kathryn Nadine; his children, Albert Holmes, Jr. (Shaunerie) of Caldwell, Sheila Henness (Curtis) of Lebanon and Paula Thompson (Bobby) of Boise; his grandchildren, Victor DeRose, Mitchell Brolin, Devin Talich, Albert Holmes III (JJ), Kristofer Dean, Johnathan Dean, Craig, Kristina Thompson and Samantha; his brothers, Richard Holmes and Kenneth; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Thompson and Anthony James Dean; and his great grandchildren, Kaytlin Merie Dean, Avri James Dean and Brooklynn Marie Kambe. He is also survived by great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
