Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walt Brost of Cottonwood, Idaho, born in Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 83, on April 14, 2023. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter W. Brost and Gladys Brown Brost; his former wife Verna Ann Calder; his sister Rose Mary Kopf; his wife Donna Rae Thompson; his children, Tammra Brost, Todd Brost (Chaurise), Troy Brost (Cheryl) and Tricia Onofrei (Steve); his brother-in-law Larry Kopf; his sisters, Rosetta Beebe (Rick) and Mona Bashore (Anthony); and his brother-in-law Gary Calder (Joan). He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Colfax Golf Foundation, Building Fund.
