He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Eckert and Ruby Eckert; and his siblings, Dwight and Sally. He is survived by: his wife Renee Andrews; his daughter Tara Thomas (Jeff) of Covington, WA; his grandchildren, Devin, Kyla, Alec, Kannen, Fox, Skye, Trip and Marlee; and his siblings, Keith and Lynn Fink. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be sent to Rod's charities – St Jude Children's Hospital and Operation Smiles.
