He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Elise Robicheau (Thomas) of Spokane, Washington and Jeffrey Steven DeFord of Palmetto, Florida; his grandchildren, Amber Nicole Williams, Samantha Danielle Lehman (Sloan), Ryan Austin Bickle and Austin Jeffrey DeFord; his pet Levi; and his sister Jeanne Benedict (Rick) of California.
