He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Henry; his children, Joseph Jr. and Constance; his wife Amy Hand; his friend Byron Hatley; his close friend Dave Nall; his children, Connie (Jim) and Joe Jr.; his stepsons, Doug (Kris) and Dean (Judy); and his siblings, Fran Martinez, Othilia Johnson, Lillian Knapp (Dale), Sally Axtel (Jim), Linda Naismith (Don) and Dave Walter (Linda).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Schneidmiller Hospice House or St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
