He was predeceased by: his parents, Benner Carling and Olga Carling; and his brother Gordon Carling. He is survived by: his children, David Carling (Shauna), Matthew Carling (Tara), Aaron Carling, Sarah Carling-Guerra, Paul Carling, Jared Carling and Martha Haddock (Jeremy). He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren, and one great grandson.
