G'Nell left this world on June 28, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her husband William DeLack; her daughters, Renee Hultin (Johan), Traci Elliott (Ed) and Tanya Cavanaugh (DJ); her grandchildren, Joseph, McKayla (Steven), Lynee, Sam (Sonya), Allie (Jaxson), Annika, Gavin (Katy) and Alex; and her great grandchild Samson.

In lieu of flowers, she asked for donations in her memory to be made to Mission Concepcion, 263 Felisa, San Antonio, Texas 78210.

“We were so saddened to hear about G’Nell’s passing. Her and Bill’s presence always brightened up the spirits of the parishioners at Mission Concepcion. Their generosity with the Pax Christi Food Pantry and other projects our church supported was always evident and performed with little fanfare or wanting any kind of recognition. Bill and the family will always have a home with us. She will be remembered at our masses Sunday. May she rest in Peace. Deacon Ray Jimenez and parishioners”
