He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin William and Elizabeth Florence Spencer (Winters); and his siblings, Lawrence, Leslie, Lester, Elsie Dial and Marjorie Heiydt.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bowler; his daughter Michelle Spencer; his sisters, Donna Spencer and Wilma Duclos; his stepchildren, Cindy Judd (Mike), Bryan Bowler (Mary), Sonia Jansen (Stan) and Serena Brison (Duane); and his grandchildren, Catherine Neustrom (Isaiah), Ann Bowler, Victor Bowler (Lauren), Robby Jansen (Jessica), Ricky Jansen (Melissa), Jon Jansen, Rebecca Talken (Zack), Amanda Barnhill (Kirby) and Arthur Brison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
