He is survived by: his grandchild Rotary; his wife Sally Allen; his sister Judy Young; his sons, Cliff Allen (Sandy), Chris Allen (Terri Hauschild) and Ned Allen; his stepdaughters, Brooke Carlson, Stephanie Carlson and Sara Tavernise (Peter); his niece Kathryn Crawford; his grandchildren, Miles Allen, Katie Burstein (Omer), Addison Allen, Baja Allen, Charlotte Tavernise and Sylvia Tavernise; and his great grandchild Teddy Burstein.
A proud grandfather, Don donated to the Rotary Foundation in the names of all his grandchildren, racing his Rotary friends to turn the births of their grandchildren into acts of fundraising prowess.
