He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorraine DeHaas (Lorrie) of Coeur d'Alene; his daughter Kristin Tuttle (Nathan); his grandsons, Sutton and Dayton of Coeur d'Alene; his children, Kelsi Gonzalez (Angelo) of Post Falls and Kaleb DeHaas (Madeline); his granddaughter Louella DeHaas of Kuna; his son Kolby DeHaas of Havre de Grace, Maryland.; his mother Rena Rosella DeHaas of Grangeville; his sisters, Judy DeHaas of Grangeville and Arlene Baerlocher Baerlocher (Joe) of Greencreek; his sisters-in-law, Michelle Sperber (Tim) of Genesee and Judi Mclaughlin of Spokane; and his father Frank DeHaas. He was also cherished by Uncle Cal leaves behind one niece and four nephews.
