We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2022, at the age of 101, Blanche Shewfelt Walker formerly of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, born in Selby, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shewfelt and Mina Shewfelt; her siblings, Dorothy Duff, Verna Hunt and Jim "Howard" Shewfelt; her sons, Jack Schaffer (Lydia) of Hayden, Larry Schaffer (Raynay) of Hayden and Tom Schaffer (Coni) of Spokane; her son-in-law Richie Ryan; her grandson Tim Schaffer; and her close friend Jack Rountree.
She is survived by: her former husband Harold "Red" Schaffer; and her children, Dixie Ryan (Alene) of Coeur and Don Schaffer (Judy) of Dalton Gardens.
