Eldon Henry Povey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eldon Henry Povey (Clifton, Idaho), who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Eldon Henry departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Eldon Henry. Though Eldon Henry may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Povey and Martha Fredrickson Povey; and his siblings, Loraine Taylor, Grant Povey and Leonard Povey.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Povey; his children, Jeff Povey (Anne Pollard), Dirk Povey and Shannon Cardon; and his sisters, Carma Jean Morgan and Dorothy Dean Griffith. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Moyle Community Center (175 W Center St, Clifton, ID 83228).
