He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed Sexton and Olive Sexton (Whitsit); his former wives, Jeannette Shanks and Arlene McGaha; his son Cliff; his daughter-in-law Lisa Sexton of Nampa, ID; his daughters, Angie (Ralph Shineflew), Georgia (Doug Beck) and June (Dave Beyer); and his siblings, Jerry Sexton (Carol) of St. Maries, Pete Sexton (Claudia) of Cheney, WA., Laura Murray, Maurice, Clifford Sexton and Mary Lou Abraham. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
