He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Spear and Orvil Howarter; his siblings, Bob, Raymond, Junior, Virginia, Iola and Mary; and his daughter Rosie.

He is survived by: his wife Anne; and his children, Donetta T., Sandy A., Laneta M., Cheryl B., Joey H., Don B., Mike B., Rick B. and David B. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
