She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Verl Coburn and Laverne Shaw Coburn; and her brother David Coburn. She is survived by: her husband Randy Cates of Pocatello, ID; her children, Scott Cates (Kelly) of Pocatello, ID, Sam Cates (Tessa), Heather Kinney (Kurtis), Noah Bennett (Kelsey), Justin Cates and Brian Cates (Rebecca) of Orange, TX; her grandchildren, Alexis Johnson, Maximus Cates and Olivia Cates; her daughter Chelsy Cates of Pocatello, ID; and her grandchildren, Kylie Cordova and Kamree Cates. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
