It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Swindell in Challis, Idaho, born in Oxford, Nebraska, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver "Ted" Swindell and Genieva "Isla" Ireland Swindell; his wives, Lula "Lou" Schlehuber and Lula May Schlehuber Swindell; his brothers, Dean Swindell and Cliff Swindell; and his granddaughter Ciara Rae Dowton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ted and Isla; and his children, Dean, Dick, Cliff, Rick Swindell (Gay), Debra Bruno (Bruce), Alicia Thornock (Dennis), Denise Dowton (Jimmie) and Dennis Swindell (Susan). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
