James Swigert Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Swigert (Challis, Idaho), who passed away on July 21, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dick"; his grandparents, Pete, Louisa Piva, Bill and Alice Swigert; his uncle Billy Swigert; and his brother Scott Tappan.

He is survived by: his mother Ruby Swigert (Piva); and his siblings, Sue Tappan of Challis, Allicyn Latimer (Jack) of Challis, Richard "Stretch" Swigert (Carol) of Zebulon and Kevin Swigert (Jennifer) of Fairfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as many friends.

Memorials may be given in his honor to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, Custer County.
