He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Eulus Griggs and Marjorie Elizabeth Estes Griggs. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Abbott Griggs; his daughters, Renae Lewis (Chad) and Karen Gunn; his grandchildren, Abigail Strakbein, Elizabeth Potter (Devon), Chloie Lewis and Jackson Lewis; and his siblings, Charlotte Hopkins, Terri Yacomella and Mike Griggs (Lois).
