He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Joyner Jr. and Dollie Mae Joyner; his brother Earl Jenkins; and his daughter Whitney Kirkeby-Joyner. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Joyner; his children, Ashley McCoy of Maryland, Devin Joyner (Kevin Simon) of Maryland, Micah Morrison of Washington, D. C, Nico Lee of Germany and Alijah Joyner of Idaho; his brothers, Ray Joyner of Washington, D. C. and Tim Joyner of Maryland; and his grandson Dominic Simon of Maryland. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a tribe of friends.
