He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Chapman and Jessie Chapman; his siblings, Phillip Chapman and Linda Allen (Tom); his son-in-law Jared Andrus; and his grandson Peter Chapman.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Chapman; and his children, Kenny Chapman (Wendy), Ben Chapman (Suzanne), Rebekah Glissmeyer (Eric), Joshua Chapman (Camille), Melissa Pearson (Benji), Melody Ulbrich (David), Clarke Chapman, Parker Chapman (Michelle) and David Chapman. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren.
