She was predeceased by: her husband George Lima Tavares; and her parents, Robert Benjamin Addis and Lyyli Maria Parkkila Addis. She is survived by: her siblings, Dona, Patty, Lynn, Susie, Debbie and Richard; her children, Laurie Marie (Blair), Leslie Parker (Mike) and John Tavares (Kathy); her grandchildren, Gavin Parker (Andrea), Alana Dawson (Jeremy), Amber Campos (Andrew), Kassi McDowell (Herbert), Drew Tavares, Tyson Ruff (Lisa) and Caitlin Arnett (Jared); and also, Emma, Jacy, Charlotte, Gwen, Alec, Lily, Alivia, Hadley, Wesley, Finn and Sydney. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to The Lee Pesky Learning Center and St. Vincent de Paul.
