He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Rookstool and Cora Rookstool (Shoemaker); his daughter Carol; his former wife Erma; his siblings, Ron, Kenneth and Reva; and his brother-in-law Jim Edens.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Flechsig; his daughter LaRee Miller (Greg); his stepsons, Jeffrey Flechsig and Ronald Flechsig; his grandsons, Jake Miller (Kelsey), Mitch Miller (Katie), Kyle Miller (Nette), Bryce Flechsig (Tasha), Corbin Flechsig and Nicholas Flechsig; and his great grandchildren, Dale, Sterling, Braxton, Atticus, Holden and Hazel. He is also survived by numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews.
