He was predeceased by: his parents, Gearson McKay Bastian and Reta Mangum; and his brother Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Brent Bastian (Linda), Deborah Ward (Alan), Brenda Knutson (Roger), Annette Miller (Craig), Julie Homer (Brian) and Steven Bastian (Erin); his wife Darlene Dowdle; and his siblings, Stanley, Roger and Gaylene. He is also survived by 6 children, 23 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren.
