He is survived by: his parents, Genzo Takasugi and Kiyoko Takasugi; his significant other Michiko Mayeda; his wife Michiko; his children, Ronald, Dennis, James, Katherine and JoAnn; his siblings, Yoshiko and Manny; his grandsons, Alan, Andrew and Gabriel; and also America. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
