It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Gifford of Caldwell, Idaho, born in Stirling, Alberta, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ina Meldrum; her husband Leo Rural Gifford; her parent Hyrum Joseph Fromm; her stepparents, Glenn Corbett, Dora Corbett and Cleo Fromm; and her siblings, Carol Smith, Joseph Corbett, Gary Corbett, Joyce Corbett and Harriett Bakly.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Christine), Steven (Carla), Doug, David, Bruce (Barbara), Brent (Cindy), Mona (Jari), Kevin (Gayle) and Melinda (Eric); her foster daughters, Ramona Arp-Ngatikaura and Amy Larsen; and her siblings, Donald Fromm (Sharon), Roger Fromm (Mardelle), Shirley Krans (Robert), Hyla Olsen (Farrell), Byron Fromm (Feather), Mary Lee (Steve), Hyrum Fromm, Rudy Gregovich (Marlene), Richard Gregovich and Edward Gregovich (Marty). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
