He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Emmerson and Bell Ruth (Dishner); and his brother Hiram Emmerson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rayaline (Dobson); his children, Timothy Jay, Julie Ann and Leeta Rose Patterson (Danny); and his grandchildren, Austin and Iliea Patterson. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces.
