He was predeceased by: his uncle Jerry McCain; and his cousin Eric McCain. He is survived by: his parents, Ronnie McCain and Rita Campbell McCain; his wife Cristy McCain; his sister Sheri McCain Robinson (Randy); his children, Shelby Abels (Kyle) and Bradley McCain; and his stepchildren, Jalynne Woodard (Austin), Jennifer Padilla (Juan), Stephanie Dobson (Brandon) and Heather Aguayo (Mario). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, niece, nephew, 2 great nieces, aunts, uncles, and dearest friends.
