He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bernard Obendorf and Edith Cornelia Obendorf (Trout); his siblings, Bernard Walter Obendorf, Orville Wayne Obendorf and Marie Elizabeth Harris; and his former wife Marjorie Dorolene Obendorf.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Phillip George Obendorf (Whitney), Brock Heinrich Obendorf, Christian Ray Obendorf (Morgan) and Connery Houston Clark. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
