He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bates and Audney Bates. He is survived by: his daughter Patti; his wife Norma Eads; his sons, Michael Bates (Quinn) and Mark Bates (Diana); his grandchildren, Phillip Bates (Chelsi), Eric Bates, Conner Bates (Kylie) and Madalyn Urrutia Bates (Oswaldo Urrutia); and his siblings, Raymond, Frank, Jerry and Gail Wood.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dakan Funeral Chapel (504 S Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605).
