He was predeceased by: his wife Gynith DeLong. He is survived by: his brothers, Tom and Bob DeLong; his sons, Rob DeLong (Pam) of Middleton and Larry DeLong Caldwell (Trina); his grandchildren, Susan DeLong of Middleton, ID, Rebecca Cotner (Greg) of Caldwell, ID, Christopher DeLong of Caldwell, ID and Camille Dixon (Thunder) of Genesee, ID; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Rowan Dixon of Genesee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dakan Funeral Chapel (504 S Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery (10101 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Garden City, ID 83714).
