He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Jerread Stanger; his daughters, Donna Gunn (Jimmy), Carie Urquiaga (Lazaro) and Cristi Darling (Scott); and his siblings, Carl Stanger, Phyllis Fletcher and Pharis Stanger. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
