He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bowen and Norma Bowen; and his wives, Mary and Cindy. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard (Dick), Raymond (Dan) and Cheryll; his family, Troy, Kim and Tyler; and his children, Lisa Manery (Chuck), Scott Bowen (Linda), Suzette Willoughby (Robert), Robin Baker (late Peter), Mariana Ahlers (Brian), Jennifer Alvarez (Frank), Troy Swackhammer, Kim Feller (late John) and Tyler Swackhammer.
