With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Simona Lumbreras Guerrero of Burley, Idaho, born in San Jose, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bardomiano Lumbreras and Maria Cruz Guerrero; and her siblings, Hilario, Placida, Irene Lumbreras and Paula Gomez.
She is survived by: her husband Jesus Ureña Gomez; her children, Alfredo Ureña (Salem), Virgilio Ureña (Portland), Jesus (Elissa), Ruben (Leah) and Norma Linda Ureña (Seattle); and her siblings, Claudia Lumbreras Guerrero, Carmen Salinas, Bardomiano Lumbreras, Graciela Garcia, Belisario Lumbreras, Estela Rodriguez, Aaron Lumbreras, Maria Landeros, Francisco Lumbreras and Rosa Maria Lumbreras. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Her character shone through despite Alzheimer's.
