He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Thurston and LaMar Stone Hanks; his wife Glenda M. Hanks; his siblings, Judy Blacker (Leon), Boyd Hanks (Kristine), Bryce Hanks (Nancy), Debbie Holyoak (Reid) and Peggy Ross (Curt); and his children, Danny Day (Jen), Darren Day (Susan), Lisa Moseley (Bobby) and Nicki Cranney (Brek). He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
