He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pauline, Homer Dale, George and Glenn; and his wife Rhoda Pearl.

He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Bolton, Karl Bolton and Louis Jr. Bequette; his grandchildren, Amanda Ash, Matthew Johnson Bequette and Dale Bolton; and his siblings, Frederick and Joanne.
