It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Leigh Rasmussen (Burley, Idaho), born in Montpelier, Idaho, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dale; her grandson Niels Peter Rasmussen; her daughter Jean Leigh Perkins; and her sister Lorri Kaye Hayes Muir. She is survived by: her sisters, Nola Rae and Karyl Dene; her former spouse VanNess Earley Perkins; her children, Eric VanNess (Barbara) of Preston, Keith Ivan (Jaime) of Declo, Idaho, Tom (Denisa) of Romania, Karla Hecker (Michael) of Elk River, Gayle Schaeffer (Joe) of Burley and Cathryn Smith of Idaho Falls; and her sister Diane. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
