He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer LeRoy Crane and Mary Cottrell Crane; his former wife LaRae Whiting of Rupert; his son Robert Whiting Crane; his siblings, Lynn Crane, Paul Crane, Calvin Crane, Mildred Crane, Elma Bowen and Mary Louise Funk; and his grandchildren, Molly Crane and Travis Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Valere Hegerhorst of Bruneau, Idaho.; his sons, Curtis (Susan) of Edmond, Mark (Candace) of Morgan, Dell (Joan) of San Leandro, Kyle (LaRae) of St. George, Troy (Kari) of Burley and Danny (Shaunna) of Buhl; and his sister Marjorie Gerratt (Rex) of Burley. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
