He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Asahel and Verla Kidman Fairchild. He is survived by: his wife Rowene Fairchild; and his children, Bret Jenkins (Angie), Eugene Jenkins (Michelle), Molly Fini, Joseph Jenkins (Tammy), Paula Coggins (Deven), Cassie Douglas (David), Ivy Godwin (Jared), Brian Osterhout, Jeffrey Osterhout (Shantelle), Heidi Holland (Undrae), Joshua Osterhout (Kellsey), Katie Wilsey (Anthony), Kelli Morales (Luis) and Robert Osterhout (Kristi).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Oakley Stake Center (2200 Oakley Ave, Burley, ID 83318).
