He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Buzz" Berney and Bessie Studley Berney; his sisters, Annabelle Wieser and Carol Ann Pabian; and his son Scot.
He is survived by: his former spouse Ardith Mae Hampton; his daughter Lori; his wife Amy Jo; his daughters, Janet Johnston (Lonnie) of Buhl, Brenda Greer (Robert) of Clinton and Linda Upton (Steve); and his sister Lori Wayment. He is also survived by Twin Falls; as well as sixteen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
