He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lancaster and Jane Lancaster of Filer; his siblings, Alan, Lee, Sue and Vivian; and his son Brad.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Detrow; his siblings, Mary Lundin of Boise and Sam Lancaster of Filer; his sister-in-law Rosemary Lancaster (Lee); his children, Brian Lancaster (Connie) of Twin Falls and Margaret Krasznavolgyi of Jerome; his daughter-in-law April Lancaster (Brad) of Filer; his stepson Danny Detrow of Hollister; his grandchildren, Kami Lattin (Berry) of Filer, Nate Lancaster of Filer, Gretchen Thomson (Evan) of Buhl and Brynna Krasznavolgyi of Ontario, Oregon; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Alice (Thomson), Athena, Chevelle and Kinsley (Lattin).
In the mid-80s, he researched and wrote a book on the Lancaster family tree, called "Lancaster Legacies", and donated a copy to the Filer library.
