He was predeceased by: his parents, D. A. "Al" and Marjorie Barigar; and his brothers, Daryl and Neal. He is survived by: his nephew Shawn Barigar (Camille); his great-nephews, Brock and Xander; his sister-in-law Maggie Himmelberger (Bob); his niece Robyn Cheney (Merrill); and his great-nephew Andy.
