He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leo Bernier and Opal Edith Brewer Bernier; his son Don Earl Bernier; his siblings, Lewis William Bernier, Melvin Earl Bernier and Shirley Jean Bernier Helms; and his parents-in-law, Ward J Miller and Katherine Nadine Deisley Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie LaRay Miller Bernier; his daughter Christina Jo Bernier Wilson; his grandchildren, Ariana Jo Wilson, Peyton Gregory Wilson and Paige Elizabeth Wilson; and his sister Kathleen Marie Bernier Deitrick.
