He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Welch and Barbara Welch. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Bartlett; his stepchild Lacy; his daughters, Carrie Flores (Frank) and Tammy Albritton (Arno); his siblings, Falls, Doug Welch (Diane) of Castleford, Gary Welch (Sharon) of Buhl, Nick Welch (Linda) of Buhl and Cindy Garza of Wendell; his grandchildren, Fabian, Gabby, Naythan, Austin Flores, Samantha, Tori, Sidney, Josie, Wyatt Albritton and Chase Massey; and his great grandchildren, Aliyah and Mila. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
