He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Eck and Rosella Eck; his brother-in-law Maynard Loewen; and his granddaughters, Shana Mastre and Heidi Eck.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Elaine Loewen; and his children, Laura (Jerry Unruh), Stan (Jolene Eck), Rachel (Brent Mastre), Paula (Brian Giesbrecht), Vince (Barb Eck) and Shawn (Marilyn Eck). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
