Though Florence Kay may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Florence Kay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Mendiola and Jean Mendiola; and her siblings, Louis Mendiola Jr., Don Mendiola and Mary Ann Morgan.
She is survived by: her husband David; and her sons, David Jr. (Cristina) of Durham, Ken Pierce of Hailey and Jim Pierce (Nora) of Coeur d'Alene. She is also survived by grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (1005 Poplar St, Buhl, ID 83316).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Florence's name to the Boys and Girls Club of Magic Valley, 999 Frontier Road, Twin Falls.
