He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond Hitt and Etta Ollie Hitt; his brother Gary; and his children, William Carter and Nancy Carter.
He is survived by: his grandson Wyatt; his wife Caroline Hitt; his brothers, Danny and Larry Hitt; and his children, Allen Hitt (Amy), Paul Carter (Jeanie), Raynay Shetler (Jack), Nile Price and Wyatt Hitt. He is also survived by grandkids and great grandkids and nieces and nephews.
