He is survived by: his children, Russell Dirks of Post Falls, ID., Jess Dirks of The Dalles, OR., Sue Dirks (Worman) of Hayden, ID., Stevie Dirks of Hayden, ID. and Michael Dirks of Athol, ID.; and his siblings, Donald Dirks, Twyla Dirks (Cope) and John Dirks.
